I just installed Coppermine for my website. It’s cool, but doesn’t have the feature to upload photos from zip files, which is much faster. Everything else is cool, like leaving and getting comments for photos, multi-user and many others.

Lately I played with IPodLinux on my Ipod mini second generation. Podzilla is quite stable, but on music playback and playlist support sucks. Podzilla2 is the development brach, it uses MPD (music playback daemon) and MPC (music playback client). The idea is great, but is unstable. What I liked much was the weel text input, nice guys

Ieri am avut ocazia sa ma joc putin cu un MacBook Alb 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. E supercool, isi merita toti banii.

Ceea ce a fost interesant e ca avea WingozXP preinstalat (dual boot cu MacOSX). Iarasi si mai interesat e sistemul unix de programe regasit precum screen, automake, ssh, sshd, scp, cp, mv, top … In lista proceselor nu am vazut nimic precum X, ceea ce ma face sa cred ca X serverul e integrat in kernel.

Suportul wifi Airport Extreme merge smooth. E compatibil cu toate celelalte potocoale precum 802.11g insa nu e de uitat faptul ca standardul 802.11n suportat are o putere se semnal de 5x mai puternica decat 802.11g.

In ceea ce priveste interfata nu am nimic de comantat. Cubul nu am incercat sa il instalez. Cica e nevoie de ceva drivere pentru asta.

Imediat se gata timpul de lucru, asa ca ies la bere

I like IceWM a lot and I would like to share that…

• Default theme looks great, but of course, there are a lot available at themes.org
• Simple and productive.
• Fully usable with keyboard.
• Efficient resource usage.
• Has an very nice taskbar where the workspaces dock in, very nice.
• Usable with GNOME and KDE environments
• Translated in a dozen of languages
